Step 5. Right click "Fallout 4" in your game library list within the Steam client, and click properties at the bottom. Step 6. Click "Local Files" tab at the top, and then click the "Verify Integrity of Game Cache" option on that window. Wait until it finishes checking your game files, and BOOM, you have a fresh install of Fallout 4.

Make sure Steam Cloud Sync for Fallout 4 is enabled on the $500 PC. 2. Launch your game, load a save, make a NEW save and then exit the game. This should trigger Steam to sync. (if you hover over the Steam tray icon, you will see it say "synchronizing" when it's active) 3. Wait for it to finish and then shut down the $500 PC.

SOLUTION for the "Non Active LOAD" or broken saves in the MAIN MENU: This occurs simply because your save file path has been changed due to Windows Update most likely or other unknown reasons. What you need to do is simply navigate to: C:\Users\user_name\Documents\My Games\Fallout 4 and look for a file called "Fallout4Custom.ini". Edit line
Now, one good way to delete the game and all mod stuff is use the control panel 'uninstall' a program (Fallout 4) to get rid of all even the mods. Also delete all your saves. They will be in User/Documents/My Games/Fallout 4/Saves. Just delete the files that show up under the Saves and nothing else. dLJw.
