Does anyone actually care that George R. R. Martin is involved with Elden Ring? As I'm pretty hyped for the game, I talk about it a lot offline. One friend of mine kinda got tired of it, and said the following: "I'm so sick of seeing it everywhere, it's just Dark Souls, nobody would care about it if GRRM wasn't involved with it." Didn't he write part of the lore for Elden Ring? He's still a writer but just doesn't have any motivation to finish ASOIAF. This isn't uncommon for writers of long series. wBfD.
